Dennis Marco sworn in as North Haledon Councilman December 30th as Wife Anne Looks On in Support
Dennis Marco and running mate Michael Galluccio staged a stunning upset in the North Haledon Council race Nov. 5, unseating the incumbents on a pledge to fight tax increases and bring balance to the borough’s wholly Republican council.
Marco and Galluccio campaigned door to door throughout North Haledon in the months and weeks leading up to the election. Their practical approach resonated with voters, who hadn’t elected a Democrat to the office since 1999.
Marco and Galluccio defeated the two incumbents by roughly 100 total votes.
